Dubai’s Atlantis The Royal grand opening
The important- awaited grand opening of the Atlantis The Royal, Palm Jumeirah is set to take place this weekend with an invite- only mega-event with personality guests and A-list celebrities in attendance.
originally set to open in October 2022, the launch was tallied for 2023.
The hotel also pushed back their opening date for bookings which was supposed to begin in March, bookings are now being accepted starting February.
Beyoncé will be performing at the grand opening, her first full concert in five years,
Although the exclusive performances and celebrity appearances are for the invite- only guests, there will be a firework show for all on the night of the grand opening visible around the hotel.
Atlantis The Royal is a 43- storey cantilevered structure, will feature 231 luxury apartments, 693 hotel apartments and 102 suites, all of which offer views of the Arabian Sea and Palm Island.
When opened, the hotel will also feature restaurants run by global celebrity cookers, some of which include Gastón Acurio, Costas Spiliadis, Ariana Bundy, Heston Blumenthal and José Andrés.
The property has multiple pools, including 44 private pools attached to suites and penthouses, and two adults- only pools. The resort will also boast a heliport, “ fire breathing ” cradles and a tank with 4,000 jellyfish – described as the largest in the world.
Bookings can now be made for dates starting February 10 with the Sky Terrace Suite
